The Stanly Park Sun Setter is a Summer Wheat Ale that is infused with Peach Flavour. First released in the summer of 2015 this beer is sold in 6-packs of 330ml bottles. Pouring into a glass the Sun Setter is a colour of hazy, golden-orange and is topped iwth two fingers of very light and fluffy, lacing head. The beer looks great! From the dense head comes an aroma that is rich with peach notes. The stone fruit-sweetness takes hold with a slight wheatiness that mellows the aroma slightly. From the nose, it is all peach which will likely win some and lose some as it is quite polarizing. Tasting the beer, the peach notes are slightly more subdued than in the aroma. A reasonably high carbonation gives a bite to the first sip as the wheat content gives a light and airy mouthfeel. As the carbonation settles the peach notes take over and leave a fairly strong peach flavour on the palate that lingers long afterwards. If you are a traditionalist there may be some options out their more up your alley. Peach fans can rejoice though as this is a light and summery beer that has a bushel full of peach flavour.
