The warm Paso Robles region delivers big cabs. Sourced from a mature Hilltop vineyard on J. Lohr's home estate, this is a dark, deep, soft and rich cabernet with super-ripe black cherry/kirsch and chocolate. It is smooth to a point with considerable alcohol, bitter chocolate and herbs on the finish. The length is excellent.
