Absolutely pure: two words are enough to describe the quality of Absolut Vodka. This Swedish vodka - one of the most famous and consumed in the world - is made exclusively from natural ingredients and, unlike other types of vodka, contains no added sugar. Absolut is, therefore, a clean vodka with a rich, full-bodied and complex taste, with sweet and soft notes of wheat and a slight hint of dried fruit.
The recipe for Absolut has remained the same since 1879. There are essentially two ingredients: the purest water from a deep well in Åhus, birthplace of Lars Olsson Smith, and winter wheat from the Swedish prairies. Instead of the usual three or four distillation processes, Absolut Vodka is distilled an infinite number of times (the exact number is a company secret) to eliminate any residual impurities.
